There Is No Family, But Only Online Games --- Re-post

Many people may have their happy families and enjoy spending time with their families, their parents, their siblings and someone who they care. But my family and I are the exception. There is no family is my house, no happiness, but only online games! Online games are everything of my brother, I think he has already forgot that he is a family member, he only cares his online games money and the characters, nothing else he cares.

I don't want say those bad things right here, but I can't tolerate what my brother did recently. On my blog post last month I talked about my brother addiction to those online games, but his addiction has been further intensified recently. There is indication that his addiction will become more serious in the next few months. Right now, besides having dinner and sleep, my brother keeps on playing online games. For example, he played online games from 10:00 am - 1:00 am yesterday! See?! It was 15 hours with virtually no break except for the 15 minutes of dinner time. Let me ask everyone of you, can you work non-stop for 15 hours a day without any break? I believe that you may think I'm crazy, but my brother actually did it yesterday. Every morning when he wakes up, what thing he does first? Many people brush their teeth and wash their faces in the morning, but my brother is an exception. He never brushes his teeth and wash his face, instead he sits in front of the computer, turn it on and go to the Internet, then start playing online games. Playing, playing, keep on playing... When it's the time to bathe, he refuses to go to bathe. Everyone, can you tell me who does not bathe everyday? If I answer you that question, I will tell you that besides beggars and homeless people, everyone takes a bath at least once a day. Again my brother is an exception! In order to play his online games, he does not take bath for couple days. I think he is now more like a beggar than my brother, so if you were me, would you like to live with a person who never brushes his teeth, does not take a bath, and plays online game non-stop for 15 hours?

At the time I am writing this post, my brother has been playing for more than an hour today, and he just keeps on playing, playing and playing. He will play the online games for rest of his life, that's it!

My Most Furious Day As Of Right Now, And It Is My Brother Again!!

This afternoon, I was working with my own project, my brother was playing online games, (honestly I don't care if he was playing online games or not) then when I got some ideas to write something out on the paper, he started making noise. So I asked him to keep quiet, he didn't listen to me. Then I asked him another time, he ignored me. Then the third time, forth time, and so on… he continued to make noise, and he made more noise!! I was getting furious, then he suddenly stood up and with the fucking killer-like face! He scolded me that I'm narrow-minded!!!
Yes!!!! I'm narrow-minded!!!!! Yes!!!!!!! I'm ungenerous!!!!!! But if you want to ask someone stop doing something disturbing, and he never listens to you, will you be furious??!! First time, that's OK, second time, I assumed you didn't hear it clear, but after third and forth advises, you still continue the disturbing behavior. All of us have our bottom lines, everything shouldn't beyond our bottom lines. What is UNGENEROUS? You better to look up your dictionary to see if this word is the best description of my mood right now! OK??!!

I'm here to talking about my brother once again, every time when I talk about him, there is only bad thing, lots of trouble of him, and the biggest problem is he never admit his faults and try to get rid of his bad behavior.

I always want him not getting into trouble, I also tell him that if he would like to get into trouble, there would be no way to turn his life around. He never listens to my advise, he thinks my advise and myself are hateful, are "bullshit", but I still have give my kindly advise to him. The reason? I don't want him to be a bad guy, I don't want him to make himself or make other people trouble, once he does it, he can't help himself and no one can help him, too.

Runescape is his everything, nothing is more important than that, I don't know, I really don't know when he will become good and get rid of all his bad...

Speechless... Only tears and sighs...

I really don't want to talk about my younger brother here again, but what he did to me today has already warned me how serious the problem he has.

This morning I cooked him some noodles and asked him to have them for breakfast, he said he didn't want to eat, then I asked him "Why don't you want to eat?" My brother told me, "I don't feel hungry and I don't feel want to eat..." At that time, he was playing the online game Runescape. (Let me tell you, he can play that online game from 9:00 am - 1:00 am the next day, and he can play it continuously, no breaks, no eating, just sit down and play!!!) Then I asked him again to eat some, I also told him that's not a good idea for not having breakfast. He said he was going out and he would have them when he's back.

About half an hour later, he came back. I asked him if he wanted to eat or not, he said "I don't want to eat now…" What's the matter?! "You said you would eat when you came back, but now you say you don't want to eat?!" Then I told him that everyone needs to eat unless he is dead... He responded to me very quickly that he is a dead person, but he can walk and talk! Then he talked to me with some insulting language. That's ridiculous! I care about him, that's why I cooked some noodles for him… Why he treats me like that?! I was getting angry... My brother then suddenly spat to me!!! He spat to me, this is the most insulting action to anyone!!!

I can't understand why my younger brother treats me like his enemy, I care about him, I treat him well, but... I don't want to say it anymore.

I always want to ask him, "do you think that I'm your brother?", but every time the answer I can get is "I don't know."

But I know my younger brother's problems are getting worse, his brain has been filled with online games and Runescape, nothing else. He got several "F"s in school, and we can't find a best and effective way to help him.

Do you think online game is more important than your family and your love ones?

A Person Without Luck

Sometimes I consider myself as a person without luck. when I think deeply, I'm not just without luck, but I also feel very sad about my fate. I can't find anything good, but the bad thing always follows myself. In addition to a deformity of my family background, I also feel so sad that I have a younger brother who has serious behavioral problems.

I know, both my parents know, many people who know my family know that the problems of my younger brother has been with him for years. Several years ago, when he was a 2nd grader, he was diagnosed to have ADHD and needed long term treatment. However, there were so many side effects on those medications, and caused my younger brother lost appetite. My parents decided to stop the medication about two years later. Without the help of medication, my younger brother was doing fine, although there had been some minor behavioral problems. Many of us thought that was a good sign, unfortunately...

My younger brother's character has been changed significantly since he went to middle school, sloppy works, broke class rules, often disrupted classroom orders, just to name a few. Parent-Teacher Conferences were even routine manners. But the problems were not limited to those, my younger brother has also been addicted to those online video games. I've already forgot exactly what time he first played online video games, but I know that he has been playing those online video games like "Runescape" and "Soldier Front" for years and spent thousands of dollars on them. He is still addicted to those games, we have tried to cut them out, but instead of success, a negative effect. The reason? My younger brother has been deeply addicted to the "Soldier Front" online video game, he always think that something should be solved by violence. Indeed, his mind has been filled with serious violence since he played "Soldier Front", and his condition is not getting any better, but it is getting worse. We have already tried to help him back to normal using many different manners, it's regrettable that his problem is too serious, healing stone inanimate.

As his big brother, I don't know what I can do to help him. For now, I just pray to the God, and the God would bless my younger brother not to do something harmful to the community. That's my only wish.

Every family has cupboard, honestly speaking, who knows the most about your family problem? Of course, it's yourself.
